Principal Welcome

Welcome!  My name is Emily Lenn.  I am blessed to have joined the St. Augustine School family in 2018.  I have 26 years experience in education, and taught 3rd, 4th, and 6th grade in Marysville Public Schools beginning in 1999.  I obtained my Master of Arts in Teaching degree through Saginaw Valley State University in 2004 and my Administrator Certificate in 2020.  I am married, and my husband and I are members of Holy Family Parish in Memphis.  We have two boys who attended Catholic schools, and are very fortunate to be a part of this community.

At St. Augustine School, we work to spread the good N.E.W.S. of Jesus by educating body, mind & spirit, worshipping God and serving others.  Our mission is demonstrated daily within our school.  Our students are active participants in the Mass at St. Augustine Catholic Church as altar servers, lectors, and gift bearers. Prayer is a fundamental part of our daily activities.  We pray together as a school community each morning and before lunch every day.  St. Augustine students prepare to receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation (2nd Grade), Eucharist (2nd Grade) and Confirmation (7th & 8th Grade). Our students also participate in many acts of service, within the school and the community.  At St. Augustine, we focus on educating the total student: spiritually, physically, intellectually, creatively, and emotionally.

We are very proud of our mission to develop the whole child (mind, body and spirit) based on Catholic values as expressed in the Gospels.  Enjoy your journey through our site and witness the wonderful things happening at St. Augustine!
